McGee CD-M1 CD-Player

With the CD-M1 McGee is introducing the matching partner for the hybrid amplifier Legend.

For a clean sampling performance we are using the Sanyo DA11 CD drive unit. It is placed in a simple, however high-quality aluminium housing.

By using two gold plated RCA outputs on the backside it is possible to connect the CD-Player to two different amplifiers. In addition you can connect amplifiers by digital connection via two digital outputs (Coaxial and Optical) on the backside.

The digital signal of the CD is converted to analogue by the built in PCM1732 chip from Burr-Brown, with this chip you can play HD CD’s too.

The power transformer possesses a power input which is completely separated from the area of the drive unit. Due to this setup no parasitic induction will intefere the listening experience, the result is high dynamic and crystal clear resolution of the music you want to listen to.
